These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Alumni Direct (“we,” “our,” or “us”), including the website alumnidirect.com and related services (the “Platform”). By registering or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Alumni Direct. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
- In order to maintain the integrity of our communities, we require that members only join ones they have officially been associated with. Members joining a community without legitimate past or present association or affiliation may be subject to account review and possible suspension from the platform.
2. Accounts and Membership
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information in your profile.
- Alumni Direct offers both Free and Gold Memberships. Additional features are available to Gold members.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Post or share false, misleading, or offensive content.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other members.
- Use the Platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse engineer the Platform.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Community Conduct
Alumni Direct is built on respect, professionalism, and the spirit of alumni connection. To maintain a positive and valuable environment, all members agree to the following standards of conduct:
Respect and Inclusivity
- Treat all members with courtesy and respect, regardless of background, alma mater, or opinion.
- No harassment, hate speech, bullying, or discriminatory behavior will be tolerated.
Professionalism
- Share content that is accurate, relevant, and appropriate for a professional networking community.
- Do not post offensive, defamatory, obscene, or illegal material.
- Respect intellectual property rights when posting content.
Safety and Integrity
- Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or affiliations.
- Do not use the Platform to solicit, scam, or defraud other members.
- Report inappropriate behavior or content to Alumni Direct so we can take action.
- No Unsolicited Promotions
- While members may share opportunities, jobs, or services, excessive self-promotion, spam, or multi-level marketing is prohibited.
- The Platform is not to be used for fundraising or donation solicitation.
Collaboration and Engagement
- Encourage healthy discussion, mentorship, and connection.
- Support the community by contributing constructively and helping keep it active and engaging.
- Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from Alumni Direct, at our discretion.
5. Payments and Upgrades
- Fees for Gold Membership are clearly displayed at checkout.
- Payments are processed securely via third-party providers.
- Memberships may renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with our cancellation policy.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on Alumni Direct (excluding member content) is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit the Platform’s content without permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
Alumni Direct provides the Platform “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including interactions with other members.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Alumni Direct harmless from any claims or liabilities resulting from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may also cancel your membership at any time.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
